cost insuranceI accept insurance, including Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Magellan,Tricare, Value Options, Humana, Mutual of Omaha and others. I am not at present accepting Anthem Blue Cross. I do not accept straight Medicare, but I accept Medicare Advantage insurance tied to the insurance companies above, such as AARP’s UnitedHealth supplemental.

As a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), I also am a provider for Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). EAP visits usually are limited to 3 to 8 sessions, but they are free to the client, so be sure to ask if your company provides EAP coverage. I serve clients of Mines and Associates, ComPsych, Empac, MHN, MHNet, Profile, LifeSynch, Ceridian LifeWorks,  Humana Life/Synch, Optum as well as those associated with the insurance organizations mentioned above.

With insurance, as a rule, your out-of-pocket payment for a 50-minute “hour” of therapy will be $50 or less. However, that is only after you have met your deductible. Your insurance card may show the required co-pays. For most companies, I usually fall under the “specialist” category.

If I am not a preferred provider for your particular insurance, let’s talk about it. There are several options.

My standard fee for a 50-minute therapy session is $120. Consider it an investment in your quality of life. I will do my best to make it worthwhile.

I accept cash, checks and credit cards.
